Responsibilities
Conduct objective, fair, thorough, unbiased, and professional audits, and fraud investigations worldwide. All audits and investigations are high profile and are typically requested by members of the Executive Committee.
For investigations, ACFE guidance. Understand facts and fraud schemes, identify roles and responsibilities as well as the loss to the company, and collect relevant proof and information. Prepare comprehensive case documentation specific to the activity being investigated and communicate the results. Identify control breakdowns and perform root cause analyses. Prepare investigation reports.
For internal audits, IIA guidance. Perform risk-based audit engagement planning. Ensure audit fieldwork is effectively and efficiently performed. Write meaningful audit reports including recommendations to management. Follow up on management action.
Partner with other governance functions including Legal, Compliance, HR, and Internal Controls.
