Industry Executive Director (Market Development Leader) - Manufacturing Description
The Oracle North America Cloud Infrastructure Sales organization has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Executive Director. This new role is positioned to take the Oracle Cloud message into the Manufacturing marketplace, directly to senior level executives.
As the Manufacturing Executive Director, you will have accumulated industry-leading experience and knowledge on key industry issues, including trends, regulations, and the industry landscape. You will use this experience, particularly as it relates to industry requirements to position cloud capabilities including data, security, and compliance requirements.
Additionally, you will have a functional knowledge of the information systems and technology capabilities typically used to drive the core business and organizational processes in Manufacturing and have gained experience in a transformation program that involved in whole or in part, a technology transformation to the cloud.

This person will establish connections with influencers and collaborators. This person will use innovative approaches and tech-based resources such as market analysis and competitive research to better target their industry outreach and refine Oracle's messaging to that specific segment. You will engage with customers directly and regularly through sales opportunities to deliver industry-relevant messaging and ensure that our selling and technical teams collect and communicate the full value of Oracle's enterprise cloud business solutions and effectively craft that value in the language that leaders in Manufacturing recognize and understand.
Additionally, this person will work with the global teams to help design the go-to-market strategy and tactical execution to further penetrate key target segments through collaboration and coordination with Sales, Field Marketing, Product Management, and Product Marketing.
Role Requirements
This is a position that involves entrepreneurial leadership, analytical thinking, creative instinct, and notoriety in one or more of these industries. Success in this role will require industry knowledge and experience, an understanding of Oracle's cloud differentiation, and strong sales and marketing skills. You should be well-known to the industry, a leader with a point of view, spokesperson, or often published industry advocate.
Build industry segment go-to-market strategy and business plan and assist in sales strategies in tandem with marketing and strategic pursuit organizations.
Collaborate with and support Field Marketing with integrated and focused marketing campaigns to further develop the industry segment.
Monitors changes in customer behavior, revisit historical assumptions and acquires concrete customer feedback.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the United States only
Hiring Range: from $126,600 to $207,400 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 60/40 - 70/30.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
