Responsibilities
Ascension Genesys Hospital, located in Grand Blanc, Michigan, is seeking a full-time clinical health psychologist faculty to join our engaged teaching team. This teaching and clinical position will participate as a clinical supervisor in our APA-accredited CHP postdoctoral fellowship. The psychologist will direct the hospital-based Psychology Consultation and Liaison Service and will supervise postdoctoral fellows who rotate on this service.
In addition, the position will have clinical and medical education teaching responsibilities with medical residents, primarily within our ambulatory residency clinics.
We are seeking a candidate with strong clinical health psychology experience, comfortable in working in hospital and medical settings, and proficient in evidence-based interventions used in these settings. Applicants must also be adept in working closely with team members, working with a diverse set of patients and learners, and have experience in teaching and supervision.
Applicants must possess a doctoral degree from an APA-accredited psychology program and must be fully licensed, or license-eligible, in the state of Michigan at the doctoral level. Possessing Board Certification (ABPP) or interest in pursuing Board Certification is strongly encouraged.
Established in 1987, the post-doctoral fellowship program is completing its 37th year of training the next generation of health psychologists.

Grand Blanc is perfectly situated in the ideal location, giving access to all that Detroit and Southeast Michigan has to offer, while also easily offering a trip North to Traverse City's many wineries and vineyards, and the splendor of yesteryear on Mackinac Island.

- Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) required.
Additional Preferences
