This position is a Congressional & Industry Affairs Officer , supporting Program Executive Office Combat Support and Combat Service Support (PEO CS&CSS.) This position is currently hybrid, typically with one day weekly in the office at the Detroit Arsenal. This arrangement could change based on the requirements of the government client.
Primary duties include:
Monitor Congressional budget / legislative activity for impact on PEO programs.
Develop, review, and edit responses to Congressional inquiries, reports, etc.
Provide legislative analysis regarding the National Defense Authorization Act, and other legislative and budget bills affecting the PEO portfolio.
Coordinate Member and/or staff visits.
Facilitate and lead industry engagements in a variety of settings.
Serve as a liaison to major industry groups such as AUSA, NDIA, and WID, etc.
Minimum Requirements:
15+ years familiarity with Administration, PM, and or Operations, preferably in a Government Acquisition program.
Clearance: Not required for initial hire. Amentum may sponsor a SECRET security clearance and if so, a positive adjudication/determination may be required for continued employment. (Please note, US citizenship is required to obtain a US secret clearance)
Preferred Qualifications:
30+ years familiarity with Administration, PM, and or Operations in a Government setting.
Previous experience as a Congressional & Industry Affairs Officer supporting PEO CS&CSS.
