About this Opportunity
As a Business Systems Analyst, you'll apply Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and/or i2 planning software to maintain and develop business practices in accordance with the MillerKnoll vision. You will focus on accurate systems data and provide systems support, diagnosis, and resolution for end users. You'll participate in development initiatives and create and maintain process documentation (databases, work instructions, etc.). You'll also serve as a business partner within MillerKnoll entities to ensure accurate corporate solutions.

Maintain direct involvement with a variety of tasks related to routine engineering changes.
Manage user expectations, set appropriate priorities, and resolve schedule and resource conflicts to complete tasks within time estimates.
Direct outside consultants as needed to ensure developed applications meet Herman Miller standards.
Manage the data archiving process within assigned area as requested.
Participate in the analysis, development, testing, and documentation of new and existing functionality.
Participate in focus teams to resolve issues or implement new functionality.
Partner with MillerKnoll IT as the area owner of functional LES, ERP, or i2 planning software programs and processes.
Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
Provide periodic on-call weekend and off-hours support as needed.
Provide mentoring and routine training for users.
Provide project management support.
Provide solutions designed to enhance and ensure service and dependability, contribute positively to corporate Economic Value Added (EVA), and provide equitable solutions for business partners.
Work with business partners to support, develop, and implement technology systems and processes in support of the business.

You might be just who we're looking for if you have . . .
A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (preferred).
Five years of hands-on experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Completed specialized LES, ERP, or i2 training classes, along with a proven ability to apply learning.
A working knowledge and understanding of the ERP or i2 systems and related tools, typically acquired through a minimum of two years of experience working with the system.
A familiarity with and ability to utilize report writers and other system software packages.
The ability to communicate information in a clear and understandable manner to user and systems personnel.
An understanding of total IT responsibility and requirements within the functional area.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
The ability to understand, support, and follow Herman Miller Performance System (HMPS) concepts and initiatives.
A strong understanding of Manufacturing, Scheduling, Purchasing, and Engineering systems and practices.
The ability to work under minimal direct supervision with excellent communication and leadership skills to influence decision-making without direct authority.
The ability to effectively use the office automation, communication, software, and tools currently used in the Herman Miller office environment.
The ability to perform all essential job functions of the position with or without accommodations.
