Use your skills to help Stellantis meet vehicle greenhouse gas objectives and other emissions reduction efforts in a rapidly changing landscape towards the goal of carbon neutrality. This will primarily involve developing Excel-based tools and other applications to provide more efficient data communication that will enable better tracking and decision making. You will become familiar with North American based vehicles, their emission performance, regulations, internal metrics and tools to help Stellantis manage challenging but important objectives.
Examples of projects include:
Participate in the development of a process to assess Zero Emission Vehicle shipments to meet both US State and Canadian Provincial requirements
Develop tool to rapidly assess production proposals on various fleets (Heavy Duty Vehicles, Canadian vehicles, etc.) to ensure short term objectives are maintained
Work to link current North America GHG tools with the global Carbon Net Zero database, Tailpipe emission tool, and ZEV models
Develop a model that manages U.S. evaporative emissions requirements
Manage the report out and communication of evaporative emissions performance
The position provides students an opportunity to work year-round in a part-time role. Our program requires students to work 24 hours a week during normal business hours Monday-Friday. In addition to this, students that demonstrate outstanding qualities will be considered for full-time positions in our various new hire programs following graduation.
Basic Qualifications:
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree at an accredited university
Ability to work 24 hours per week, year-round
Preferred Qualifications:
Achievement of Sophomore status at an accredited university at the time of hire
GPA of 3.0 or higher (based on a 4.0 scale)
Strong interest in automotive industry
Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
