GENERAL SUMMARY
Under direction of Program Coordinator, assists in daily programming and on-site support. Ensure consistent quality control and implementation of program policies and procedures. Implement programming and services that create a positive and welcoming environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists with the implementation of procedures to support grant objectives.
Encourages senior participation by creating a pleasant and friendly atmosphere.
Ensures compliance and consistent implementation of program policies and procedures, grant service standards, quality control, health codes and safety regulations.
Oversees and evaluates daily operations of dining sites and meal distribution locations; training, coaching and assisting with problem solving of Food Service Aides to mentor and support.
Assists with Senior Dining operations and assists with Meals on Wheels deliveries, as needed.
Schedules regular speakers and plans activities and special events for sites within assigned region.
Maintains accurate records of necessary documentation for agency and funding source.
Attends staff meetings, in-service or trainings as scheduled; assist with facilitation of trainings and new hire onboarding.
Assists with volunteer recruitment when assistance is needed.
Provides information and referrals for Aging Network services as needed.
Acts as liaison between Program Coordinator and Food Service Aides.
Acts as liaison, representative and/or resource person between the Office of Senior Services and community partners and the public.
Operates an automobile to perform assigned job functions.
Performs related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and Experience

A minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience, preferably working in human or community service

Possession of an associate degree
