General Responsibilities:
Deliver a project on time, on quality, and on cost by leading the interdisciplinary project team and coaching the temporary project managers assigned to the customer line. Ensure project interface to the customer.
Job Responsibilities:
The main duties and responsibilities include the following:
Lead Project:
Lead project team to ensure their engagement to deliver on time, on spec, and on quality
Regularly communicate with the team and management about project progress
Ensure the highest level of standardization of projects
Drive the team to ensure the accomplishment of all work packages
Follow and if necessary, help to improve the corresponding processes and guidelines
Track project progress with the team: planning, customer milestones, project variances
Manage problem-solving and risk mitigation process
Manage profitability with respect to the awarded contract
Keep the matching table of the company to Customer milestones in sense and content (material, document, and decision intent)
Provide and validate the project management entries to the process of the 5Y resource plan for the CLO's portfolio of projects in acquisition and in development
Ensure project quality compliance.:
Follow the project management process and facilitate the team to achieve each milestone with the right information
Ensure the completeness of the internal and customer documentation of the project
Coordinate with internal customer's project team.:
Manager the proper communication with the customer project team and negotiate changes requested by the company or by the customer to defend the company's best interest
Manage cross-functional project teams using leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Tracking of project progress and managing project trade-offs across scope, timing, and resources
Team Management:
Foster a climate of teamwork and motivation within the team by encouraging an entrepreneurship mindset, professional development, and growth of employees (assessment, training, coaching, and mentoring).
Ensure the deployment of the company communication to the team
Ensure an appropriate work environment for the team
Train the assigned project managers to its customer project management rules and match them to internal process
Qualifications:
Key Competencies Deep knowledge of the customer side of project management and corresponding processes, Knowledge of Project Management methodology and tools, Deep knowledge of project management process, Technical knowledge and understanding of chassis products (Foundation brakes and Actuation preferable), Finance acumen, Ability to work in a multicultural environment, Broad functional view, Functional management, Fluent English level, and customer language appreciated
Professional and technical knowledge: Office Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook, etc. SAP, Fluent English language.

Additionally, the ability to work independently with minimal direction is required as are strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with PCs and application software, such as MS Office tools is also required.
Education: Bachelor/Master's degree in engineering, Business Studies, or equivalent
Experience: At least 7 - 10 years of experience in Project Management in the automotive industry.

Working conditions:
Physical Demands: Required to sit or stand for long periods of time. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Travel: Domestic and international may be required as needed. The candidate will occasionally need to travel to multiple global locations to support project development.
