Responsibilities
Technical Business Analyst - (Behavioral Threat Assessment) Education
Ability to understand stakeholder and client needs and translate them to requirements.
System Understanding: The Analyst will actively work on increasing their understanding of the BTA system.
They will collaborate with the implementation team, product managers, and subject matter experts to gain comprehensive knowledge of the system's functionalities, workflows, and processes. This understanding will enable the Analyst to create accurate and effective user interface models.
Collaboration with the BTAM Product Lead: Align their efforts with the overall product roadmap and vision. The Analyst will collaborate to ensure that the user interface models meet the desired objectives and effectively represent the BTA system.
Documentation and Publishing: The Analyst will document and maintain accurate records of specs and development related items.
Continuous Improvement: The Analyst will actively participate in discussions and brainstorming sessions to identify areas of improvement in the BTAM system. The Analyst will stay updated on emerging trends and technologies related to user interface design and incorporate relevant innovations into their approach.
Collaboration with Team Members: The Analyst will collaborate closely with other members of the BTA team, including developers, testers, product managers, and subject matter experts. They will actively seek input and feedback from team members to ensure that the user interface models align with technical feasibility and meet the requirements and expectations of all stakeholders.
Build and disseminate reports utilizing business intelligence tools, and write queries utilizing SQL and Python.
By fulfilling these responsibilities, the BTA Team Analyst will contribute to the overall success of the BTAM Implementation Team by providing accurate and effective user interface models, improving the user experience of the BTA system, and supporting the achievement of the team's objectives.
Qualifications
Required Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of business analysis and/or product design experience.
Proven record of excellence in documenting, designing, and delivering technical solutions.
Preferred Work Experience
Knowledge or experience in EdTech, Case Management systems.
Knowledge or experience with EDPlan.
Experience with wireframing/prototyping tools such as Axure RP or ability to quickly learn.
Knowledge of task management and project management systems (ex. JIRA, ASANA, Monday.com, etc.).
UI/UX experience and course certification.
Required Skills
Ability to create comprehensive Requirements Specifications, Designs, Process/Flow Diagrams, Test and Implementation Plans, and Feature Release Notes.
Strong familiarity with SDLC, business process design principles, mapping, and testing procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment; reacts professionally under pressure.
Proven ability to take initiative and seek creative solutions.
Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to analyze, organize, and present data.
Detail orientation with excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; speaks clearly and persuasively.
Effective ability to prioritize and manage multiple activity streams.
Ability to build and maintain business relationships.
Works well independently - makes decisions and solve problems using sound, inclusive reasoning, and judgment with limited supervision.

Compensation
Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $75,000 - $85,000 and a potential discretionary bonus of up to 10%. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
