About the Role
In your tole of Complete Vehicle Intern Engineer, you will be able to assist in the Benchmark, Testing Development and Architecture activities of a Complete Vehicle Engineering development.
Your Responsibilities
Vehicle Architecture:
Reviewing Vehicle Systems in CAD and analyze compatibility within components and systems to validate requirements such as Clash Analysis, clearances, material properties, and other activities related.
Create Sections for Class A Surface and Vehicle Requirements Review.
Vehicle Testing:
Participate in the Vehicle Testing events, and support with reports documentation.
Participate in Durability Testing Inspections, as well as reports documentation support.
Report issues in timely matter and support cross-functional teams reviews and problem solving.
Participate and support with vehicle instrumentation.
Customer Function and Weight:
Participate and support Benchmark activities, such as researching in data for commercial vehicles. Inspection and documentation of vehicles available, support Engineering activities related with the Benchmark Vehicles Fleet.
Support in Weight management activities, such as BOM review, calculation discrepancies, and problem resolution with the different teams.
Who we are looking for
Some automotive experience is a plus.
Currently enrolled and working towards a bachelor's/master's degree of Science or Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or related discipline.
Applied engineering experience through student organizations, internships, or personal projects.
Ability to participate in Complete Vehicle Testing, Analysis, and Design.
Your preferred qualifications
High School Diploma
Currently Attending a College or University
Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
CATIA V5 Experience is a plus.
Vehicle, System or Component Level Testing experience is a plus.
Normal amount of sitting or standing, average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.
