We are currently searching for a dynamic,Benefit Lead - Retirement and Global Mobility.The Benefit Lead is responsible for administering retirement benefits (401(k), deferred compensation, pension) and provides support for those plans to employees, retirees, and beneficiaries. The position manages all aspects of global mobility for employees moving into and out of the United States. This role is considered a subject matter expert in both primary areas.
Administers U.S. and Canadian retirement plans (401(k), pension, and deferred compensation) to include: compliance in accordance with company, state and federal guidelines, data reporting, funding, employee and beneficiary communications, and provides information and guidance to employees about all retirement plans.
Manages compliance matters pertaining to retirement plans (audits, 5500s, SPDs, PBGC filings, etc.) including acquiring and distributing legally required communications to plan participants and beneficiaries.
Leads global mobility process for the lifespan of the assignment (reporting, housing, relocation assistance, taxes, compensation, repatriation, etc.) including working with the legal team to ensure compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
Manages international assignment compensation and benefits through accurate data maintenance and preparation of packages, cost projections, payments, etc.
Understands global payroll, tax, social security, relocation support, housing, cost of living, tax equalization, equity and immigration requirements and their impact upon international compensation and benefits.

Acts as a single point of contact for complex or high profile moves to coordinate timely and accurate service delivery across all vendors and internal teams.
Develops, implements, and updates policies and procedures related to global mobility.
Maintains knowledge of current regulations, best practices, and trends in retirement plan administration and global mobility
Provides empathetic support and manages expectations to the employee throughout the mobility cycle by taking a consultative and proactive approach, being effective and flexible.
Ideal candidate will have the following experience/skills and education:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant professional experience preferred, including leading and managing complex projects or programs with outcome-focused deliverables, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably with experience in both retirement plan administration and/or global mobility.
Advanced knowledge of benefits, including retirement plans, deferred compensation, and pensions with excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly explain retirement plan options in easily understood terms.
Ability to handle very sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Knowledge of pertinent state and federal regulations regarding benefits, retirement, and compliance.
Ability to understand and continually improve business processes and systems.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills as well as strong attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills, to effectively interact at all levels of the organization and with external customers/vendors.
High School Diploma or GED Required
