The Contact Center Coordinator position is responsible for analyzing and processing all reservations and customer inquiries derived from phone, mail, FAX, and electronic requests as they pertain to individual guests, groups, and other member reservations. Additionally, act as Contact Center Agents on behalf of Event Network by processing orders from the Holiday Gift Guide.
Essential Responsibilities
Answer calls from multiple incoming phone queues by serving as the primary customer service representative to each guest
Acts as a switchboard operator to transfer calls to other staff/departments in the Institute
Process and review each reservation including data entry in the ticket system
Process credit card payments for orders accepted over the phone
Acts as group check-in representative for all incoming group visits. Accepts cash, check, and credit card payments upon arrival for group reservations
Acts as fulfillment representative by processing and printing all paid ticket and membership orders and donation requests
Handles inquiry calls and orders for the Holiday Gift Guide using both The Henry Ford's website and Event Network's software system
Contributes to the effective team management of all problems, issues, and opportunities
Performs other activities as necessary
Your Qualifications
Associates degree in business/marketing or equivalent work experience in systems, sales, and telephone console operations
3 or more years experience working with computers and databases
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Well organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Special Skills

Self-directed, able to take responsibility and make decisions
