This position is an Administrative (Admin) and Operations Officer, supporting Product Manager Multi Mission Protected Vehicle Systems (PdM MPVS), Program Manager Transportation System (PM TS), Program Executive Office Combat Support and Combat Service Support (PEO CS&CSS.) This position is currently hybrid, typically with one day weekly in the office at the Detroit Arsenal. This arrangement could change based on the requirements of the government client.
Primary duties include:
Execute all regular transaction processes necessary to maintain administration, operations, and records for the Product team.
Coordinate and organize a wide variety of acquisition related meetings (including calendar management).
Book and manage travel through Defense Travel Systems (DTS).
Manage time related data in the Automated Time and Attendance Production System (ATAAPS) and the Out of Office (OOO) system.
Manage and coordinate internal and external program requirements (taskers) across the product office, higher headquarters, and external organizations.
Coordinate and staff documents (ensuring they follow the military writing style), to include Milestone and Material Release documents.
Organize and run organizational events.
Provide other operations and administrative support for the Product office as needed.
Other duties may be assigned to support client and contract deliverables.
Minimum Requirements:
3+ years familiarity with Administration and or Operations, preferably in a Government Acquisition program.
Associate degree and 4+ years, Bachelor's degree and 2+ years, or 7+ years in lieu of a degree.
Clearance: Not required for initial hire. Amentum will sponsor a SECRET security clearance, a positive adjudication/determination may be required for continued employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years familiarity with Administration and or Operations in a Government Acquisition program.
Experience in government administrative support, including active use of DTS, ATAAPS, and OOO.
Experience supporting PEO CS&CSS or other similar government programs at the Detroit Arsenal.
