We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist who is well-versed in ISO 9001:2015 and has a strong background in Production Part Approval Process (PPAP). The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring our organization's products and processes adhere to the highest quality standards. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in our quality management system.
Responsibilities:
- ISO 9001:2015 Compliance: Ensure that the company's quality management system complies with ISO 9001:2015 standards, including maintaining documentation, conducting internal audits, and facilitating external audits.
- PPAP Management: Oversee the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for all products, working closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure that new parts and changes meet quality requirements.
- Quality Control: Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and policies to monitor and improve the quality of our products throughout the production process.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement, implement corrective and preventive actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality and efficiency.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, create quality reports, and communicate key performance indicators to the management team.
- Supplier Collaboration: Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality agreements, resolve quality issues, and ensure that they meet our quality expectations.
- Training and Education: Train and educate employees on ISO 9001:2015 standards and quality assurance best practices to ensure company-wide understanding and compliance.
- Root Cause Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments related to quality and work with cross-functional teams to develop risk mitigation plans.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience with ISO 9001:2015 standards and certification.
- Strong expertise in Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in quality control, quality assurance, and process improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in using quality management tools and software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Quality Auditor) will be a plus.
