PRODUCT PORTFOLIO STRATEGY MANAGER
JOB LOCATION (SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN - LEAR EAST CAMPUS/WORLD HEADQUARTERS)
As a member of the Strategy team, the Strategy Manager will be responsible for: Leading strategy projects to support E-Systems. This will include research and analysis, building models, frameworks, and synthesizing insights into the clear strategic narratives.
The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
Leading and researching strategy projects such as: marketing sizing, competitive landscapes, trend analysis, customer profiles, etc.
Development and delivery of comprehensive reports, presentations, and models to senior and executive level individuals
Ad-hoc tasks to support leadership
The Hour by Hour Task Breakdown with percentages:
Market research and analysis 40%
Strategic material building (Excels, Power Points, White Papers) 40%
Ad-Hoc Project Support 20%
Your Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree in business, engineering, economics, or related fields
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point - able to data model and create slides organically
6+ years of professional experience
High business acumen - ability to synthesize data and turn it into clear business implications and actions
Demonstrated leadership experience - level-headed demeanor with the ability to rally a team and lead towards a new way to thinking and operating
Comfortable and experienced working cross functionally and with senior leaders
Self-motivated with proven time management skills - Able to handle and manage 1-2 strategy engagements at one time
Experienced in building business cases and financial frameworks for decision making
Understanding of the automotive space
Bonus If You Have:
MBA
Consulting experience highly valued
Electrification, vehicle architecture, body electronics, and/or electrical distribution systems experience a plus
