Ricardo Defense has an opening for an experienced Azure Administrator in our Troy, MI office to add to our IT Team. Only candidates local to Troy, MI will be considered. The position will allow for some work from home.
Under the direction of the Information Technology Operations Manager, the Azure Administrator is responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting cloud-based solutions that adhere to security best practices within the GCC-High Azure cloud environment. Support Linux, Windows, and iOS server-based multi-tier applications with cloud-based and on-premises components. The Azure Administrator candidate must demonstrate depth of knowledge of Azure services, including networking, identity, and security. The ideal Azure Administrator candidate will also demonstrate experience with Azure administration, Azure development, and DevOps processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Deploy and maintain Azure and other cloud technologies.
Implement and support network infrastructure, servers, firewalls, databases, and virtual environments both in the cloud and on-premise.
Design and integrate core infrastructure for enterprise applications.
Collaborate with cybersecurity for risk assessments and implementation of security solutions to include Vulnerability Management, Patch Management, XDR and SIEM.
Lead configuration and maintenance efforts for the Azure GCC-High cloud environment in compliance with NIST 800-171 and CMMC 2.0 security controls.
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud/on-premise resources, with a focus on security and operational integrity.
Work with development, cybersecurity, and IT teams to integrate solutions in production environments.
Develop and enforce IT standards and processes.
Document IT processes and ensure timely issue resolution and communication with stakeholders.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and contribute to special projects.
Requirements
A Bachelor degree in Computer Science or relevant field with 3+ years of experience, or High School diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant experience.
Must be able to obtain a US Government Secret Clearance.

A Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Azure cloud services.
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert is preferred but not required.
Experience in designing and deploying cloud and hybrid solutions that run on Azure, to include Compute, Network, Storage, Monitoring, and Security.
Advanced experience and knowledge of IT operations, including networking, virtualization, identity, security, business continuity, disaster recovery, data platforms, and governance.
Experience leading cloud migration efforts for Federal customers.
Proficiency in network diagramming and understanding of IT industry standards and change management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience optimizing resource utilization and costs through effective management and scaling.
Experience with AWS cloud computing platform.
Experience architecting end-to-end AI solutions on the Azure platform.
Additional relevant certifications, such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Fortinet Network Security Expert (NSE).
