As a Healthcare Account Executive, you will represent GPI completely and successfully in all interactions with the Healthcare customer(s). Initiate and maintain long-term relationships with various functional groups at assigned and developed accounts. Work from company policies and objectives to lead associates in a focused way to serve customers satisfactorily and profitably. The ability to work with very little guidance and/or direction is essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Be a primary day to day commercial point of contact for segment account needs.
Know and understand customer requirements and needs and support GPI teams with this information.
Coordinate and work closely with customer service to ensure the best customer experience.
Develop and implement systems, touchpoints, reports, guidelines and process to keep customer business organized and performing as needed.
Proactively assess, clarify and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
Develop regular reports and communications with customers on critical business metrics.
Coordinate GPI resources (i.e., marketing, technical, operations, Graphics, customer service, etc....) to provide value added services and support to accounts.
Provide analysis and information on segment sales forecast.
Regularly use SalesForce.com, SQL and SAP as core tools of the position.
Strong Excel and data processing skills, working with spreadsheets, pricing matrices, specification documents, and online bidding portals.
Support customers and Healthcare team as the coordinator of bids and market tenders.
Act as the key point of contact and communication for the tender
Organize, understand and manage the bid documents
Manage timings, to-do's and tasks by other contributors
Access sites / documentation and download information
Organize and run meetings with stakeholders
Coordinate proposals
Strong understanding of equipment and technology profiles, capabilities, metrics and carton production process.
Provide project management and leadership Healthcare customer projects.
Serve as a member of the Healthcare Team. Participate in meetings, discussions, and activities of that group.
Support and contribute to the development of a roadmap to penetrate target accounts and support the building and execution of a pipeline for significant business growth.
Deliver a robust increase in revenue and gross profit throughout the Healthcare segment year over year.
Organize and steer development and improvement projects. Coordinate project details, timing, deliverables and participants.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of technologies used in the Healthcare and Beauty packaging cartons. Seek innovative ideas that could be developed for Health and premium applications. Evaluate ideas for technical and business feasibility.
Handle initial requests for projects, including estimates, CAD samples, timelines, and specifications and manage the commercialization efforts for those projects.
Support customers, Customer Service and sales team with commercial deliverables, including estimates, requests, CAD Samples, pricelists, changes, reports etc...
Supervise and drive the qualification of new packages or package revisions for customer. Plan, attend, and track trials as required in GPI and customer(s) plants.
Track the quality performance of GPI plants supplying customer(s). Regularly review and address customer metrics including quality, OTIF, Pricing, margins etc and work with internal and external stakeholders to increase performance.
Provide or coordinate technical assistance in resolving issues with GPI cartons at customer plants as needed.
Support the needs of GPI internal stakeholders, plant and operational leaders, customer service teams, demand and capacity planning teams and finance teams.
Coordinate and update tailored presentation material(s) encompassing the GPI Healthcare capabilities.
Continually support external sales teams in the acquisition of new business and Healthcare team growth.
Delight external customers and internal stakeholders and deliver confidence, loyalty and best in class service.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree
5 + years demonstrated sales, customer service or related experience in Folding carton segment or equivalent combination or experience and education
