The Intern - Maintenance Records Technician (MRT), with supervision, prepares and enters accurate logbook entries, according to Duncan Aviation approved procedures, to reflect the maintenance and modifications performed at Duncan Aviation. In addition, this position researches basic logbook items, attends various department and customer meetings, accurately records time on customers/internal work orders and completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner. The internship will complete after duration of 3 - 6 months, dependent on employee quality & school.
Essential Job Functions
With supervision, gain hands on exposure to FAA logbook entries and documentation according to Duncan Aviation approved procedures.
With supervision, prepares and enters timely, accurate and complete FAA required logbook entries to record maintenance or modifications performed under Duncan Aviation's repair station certificate.
With assistance, research basic, introductory and specific logbook items.
Updates tracker database for completed maintenance or modifications.
With supervision, responds to internal and external customers inquiries relative to aircraft records and research, including processing documentation relative to customers' specific maintenance programs.
Performs other related quality department duties as assigned by management.

Experience
Currently enrolled in collegiate level courses and pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree or quality certification
Proficiency with software programs (Microsoft Suite & SAP, AS400, or other documentation software
Preferred course of study in Aviation Studies (Aviation Management, Aviation Operations, or Aviation Maintenance)
