Responsibilities:

Examines blueprints, sketches or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
Understands and takes ownership of the scope of each job.
Orders and schedules equipment for the job.
Trains and mentors other carpenters.
Constructs building frameworks including walls, floors, and doorframes.
Helps erect, level, and install building framework with the aid of rigging hardware and cranes.
Plans, organizes, and participates in project tasks.
Manages and documents production to ensure hours budgeted are met and financial budgets are exceeded.
Predicts resources needed to complete tasks through look ahead weekly schedules.
Trains and mentors team members.
Manages equipment inventory and materials on site as well as budget.
Oversees quality control.
Understands and reads blueprints, shop drawings and specifications.
Organized, with exceptional time management skills, the ability to plan and multitask in order to meet deadlines.
Enjoys working with a team and has a positive, constructive attitude.

Additional Requirements

10 years experience in framing, with 5 years commercial framing experience.
5 years as a lead framer/foreman in charge of crews of 4 or more.
Must have reliable, consistent transportation.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Already or willing to become trained in CPR, OSHA 30-Hour certified, and licensed on equipment.
Experience with Microsoft Office software and/or Procore a plus.
