GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under close supervision, following mandated food handling techniques, sanitary requirements, and safety requirements, provides appetizing meals and other related food services to patients, hospital employees, guests, cafeteria patrons and other authorized visitors. The following description of essential duties are intended to reflect the major responsibilities and tasks of the job, other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Education / Training:
Ability to read, write, and perform simple math; also understand oral instructions and be able to communicate job related problems.
High school graduate or equivalentpreferred

Sweep and mop floors
Put away stock

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Physical Requirements:
Position requires ability to constantly push/pull light objects and frequently push/pull objects less than 20 lbs. Position requires ability to constantly lit light objects, occasionally lift less than 20 lbs. And seldom lift objects greater than 20 lbs.
Position requires incumbent to frequently perform simple motor skills such as standing, walking or sitting for extended periods of time, frequently perform simple manipulative skills such as collating and working with files, working on a keyboard and seldom performs difficult manipulative skills.
Position requires incumbent to frequently perform gross body coordination such as walking, stooping bending, performing tasks which require hand eye coordination such as keyboard skills, seldom perform tasks which require am-hand steadiness.
Position requires incumbent to frequently walk and sit for prolonged periods of time; in addition, be able to occasionally stand for prolonged periods of time.
Position requires incumbent to occasionally see objects far away as locating items on high shelves; constantly see closely as in reading a computer screen, meal ticket or files, reading various reports and in reading schedules; frequently discriminate colors as in verifying on panels and equipment.
