COMPENSATION: $17.00
SHIFTS/HOURS: Monday-Thursday from 5:30am to 4pm and Friday from 5:30am to 2:00pm

POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Millwork Technician, you will play a crucial role in our production process. You will be responsible for operating industry-specific woodworking equipment, ensuring precise and efficient preparation of lumber for wholesale use.
Additionally, this position will involve leading, directing, and training staff on equipment operation and customer specifications to maintain high-quality standards.
The Millwork Technician will also contribute to the implementation of improved production processes, directly impacting the overall quality and productivity of our operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate industry-specific woodworking equipment to process lumber for the cabinet and flooring industries.
- Lead, direct, and train staff on equipment operation and customer specifications to ensure consistency and quality in production.
- Collaborate with the team to identify areas for improvement in production processes and contribute to the implementation of these improvements to enhance quality and productivity.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Follow work orders and production schedules to meet customer demands efficiently.
- Monitor equipment performance and promptly report any issues or malfunctions to the maintenance department.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Keep accurate records of production output, quality checks, and any other relevant data.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and maintain a positive work atmosphere.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in woodworking or millwork operations is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals who demonstrate a strong aptitude for learning.
- Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and industry-specific machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Effective communication and leadership skills to lead and train staff effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
- Punctual, reliable, and committed to maintaining excellent attendance.
