Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Social Media Program Manager to join our team in Holland.
As a Social Media Program Manager, you will:
Support development of Haworth's social media content strategy. Contribute to content calendar management; writes, edits, and manages social media posts. Perform as lead coordinator of social media promotion and campaign development, community management, and analytics. Maintain knowledge of social media, mobile, and digital emerging/converging technologies as it relates to business to business (B-to-B) contract furniture target audiences. Document and share social media best practices with marketing and sales support colleagues.
Some responsibilities include (but not limited to):
Partners with Haworth's Content Council to create and maintain content calendar for all social communities.
Partners with creative/agency teams to optimize and manage Haworth brand in all social channels.
Provides input to creative/agency teams to support creation of original assets for social communities (video, photography, illustration, infographics).
Serves as lead writer/editor of social media posts and related web content, contributing to development of brand voice that engages target audiences through social media channels.
Schedules and posts relevant content in accordance with content calendar.
In partnership with marketing/agency teams, implements social media promotions, campaigns, advertising programs, and best practice guides.
In partnership with asset management team, maintains asset library for all asset types (i.e., video, photography, illustrations).
Monitors user-generated comments and responds to comments in real-time.
Escalates customer inquiries to appropriate stakeholders. Partners with stakeholders and Customer Service to formulate social media response policies.
Monitors dialogue, feedback, and social media metrics. Analyzes information to recommend actions.
Provides leadership and content guidelines to remote social media coordinators and dealers in local markets to extend and complement Haworth's corporate social media strategy.
Do you have these required qualifications?
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or equivalent
Five-years experience in social media and web content production and community management
Do you have these preferred qualifications?
Experience in managing and implementing paid social advertising spends
Experience writing/editing in publishing environment strongly preferred
B2B brand marketing experience strongly preferred
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
Ability to contribute to content plans and social media plans that build Haworth's reputation as industry thought leader and actively engage target audiences.
Understanding of popular and emerging social networks - design, functionality, users.
Familiar and comfortable with updating, navigating, and utilizing all major social channels, including understanding terms of use, best practices, and results metrics for each.
Ability to identify social media appropriate stories, develop original content, and optimize existing assets for publication through appropriate social media channels.
Passion for social media and emerging technology. Curiosity for social media, mobile, and digital emerging/converging technologies.
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to produce written content for social media and digital platforms required.
Must be able to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously and have excellent personal organizational skills, along with high attention to detail.
Demonstrated abilities in managing projects and working collaboratively with teams to take ideas from concept to implementation.
Must be highly motivated and results driven.
Ability to analyze situations, identify and troubleshoot problems, recommend solutions using good judgment and decision-making, and effectively prioritize and organize work.
Working knowledge of corporate-supported software packages such as Microsoft Office.
Potential to travel overnight away from corporate offices, including internationally, up to 15 percent of time.
