Position Overview: We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team as a Patient-Centered Care Provider. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering exceptional, patient-centric care by applying the nursing process and embracing a holistic approach. Your responsibilities will encompass evaluating patient needs, implementing effective interventions, and striving for favorable outcomes through critical thinking. Moreover, you will actively interact with patients and their families, provide educational support, and collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient well-being. Successful execution of this role hinges on your robust communication skills, team spirit, and unwavering commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards.
ICU experience required.
2 years of ICU experience in a level 1 or 2 trauma center within the past 6 months.
ACLS and BLS required. PALS preferred
Leadership experience required , House Supervisor experience preferred.
Every other weekend required.
13 week contract with option to extend
40 hours per week
Night shift; 7:00p-7:30a.
In this role, you would be in charge of the hospital when the managers are not there. You will need to be confident in your skills and would have to help out in both ER, Med/Surg and ICU depending on what's going on. You will help with setting up central lines, starting IV's and triaging in the ER. The other part of the job is working out staffing issues, answering staff questions and working with patients and families.
