Scope of Responsibility
Cascade Engineering has an opening for a Process Technician Level 3. In this role, you will be responsible for starting up and shutting down, troubleshooting, programming, diagnosing and repairing equipment. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow in this technical position.

Location: West Plant (5055 36th Street. SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49512)
Shift: 3rd Shift (11p – 7:15am Sunday – Thursday, and occasional overtime on Friday/Saturday)
Target Pay: $23.07 - $31.73
General Responsibilities
Routine Tasks - Executes the set up and processing of plastic injection molding machines, ensuring the prompt and precise installation and removal of molds and dies while adhering to quality and safety protocols. Also responsible for fine-tuning assembly equipment, auxiliary machinery and robots.
Troubleshooting – Communicate in an effective and timely manner any equipment issues/breakdowns to maintenance. Troubleshoot molding defects such as flash and short shots and identify continuous improvement opportunities. Communicate in an effective and timely manner any tooling issues to the Shift Supervisor and the team Process Engineer.
Support - While working with all levels of the team you will be responsible for offering support where needed. This could include cleaning hoppers, doing moisture checks and setting up dryers. You could be called upon to help with various mold changes, crane operation and color changes.
