Waltonen Engineering has several openings for Product Designers
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare design layouts on complex units and mechanisms
Make design computations as required
Prepare general specifications, such as bills of material
Work with layout drafters and detailers to achieve completed design
Develop creative drawings from design objectives established by others
Use manual or computer skills to complete design drawings
Meet all customer requirements
Qualifications:
At least 2 plus years in Product Design
NX experience preferred
Experience in modeling from assembly drawings/packages
Sheet Metal, structural design or wire harness design/routing experience preferred
Solid Modeling and assembly design experience
Oral and written communication skills
Analytical ability to recognize and solve design and mechanical problems
