Overview
POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager, Medical Imaging develops departmental goals that correspond with the strategic plan of St. Francis Hospital; plans and implements the annual departmental operation budget; maintains department position control and productivity standards; maintains ongoing Quality Improvement program as prescribed by Joint Commission; assures compliance with the appropriate regulatory agencies recommendations; assures maintenance of quality Medical Imaging services to include radiography, nuclear medicine, ultrasonography, mammography, echo sonography, central transport, computerized tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging. Conducts annual departmental performance appraisals for Mission Partners; completes payroll functions; develops and implements Mission Partner communication and education programs; represents management in the grievance procedure; participates in labor management meetings as required; actively participates with the hospital management team; completes other assignments as requested by the departments Medical Director's and the Vice President, Operations.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited school of medical imaging i.e.: Radiologic Technologist, Ultrasonography, Nuclear Medicine, or Magnetic Resonance.
Five (5) years experience in a Medical imaging specialty.
Two (2) years experience as active management or assistant management of a Medical Imaging department.
ARRT, ARDMS, RVT, SNMT, or such nationally recognized licensure in Medical Imaging
