This role's primary responsibility is to drive the business forward with continuous improvement, enable growth, productivity, and profitability, and implement and promote change. This important role will lead VBS and FPP efforts for the Fueling Solutions business globally and will play a change management role on critical initiatives, as well as be a key participant in driving the strategy of the business. The person in this position will collaborate closely with Fueling Solutions' regional and functional leaders, and their teams, globally to leverage the VBS toolset to drive improvements across all aspects of the business.
I. Key Responsibilities
Modernize, upgrade, deploy and maintain the Fundamentals - Growth, Lean and Leadership tools and capabilities across GVR's Fueling Solutions business.
Partner with and coach senior leadership in the development of the Fueling Solutions improvement roadmap and the leading elements of strategy and execution.
Promote and facilitate diagnosis of workflow impediments and other wastes throughout the business and all functions and provide expert counsel on appropriate tools to eliminate them.
Fully deploy continuous improvement/lean tools throughout the GVR organization with all teams deploying and demonstrating business improvements through improvement activities.
Drive and grow the continuous improvement culture in the business, enabling a continuous improvement mindset culture and building an environment that allows all parts of our business to drive real, measurable improvements.
Ensure a healthy pipeline of continuous improvement opportunities and projects, and drive successful execution and sustainment of those opportunities.
Provide coaching to leaders on the deployment of VBS within their function.
Drive specific focus on the product simplification toolset to continually drive business and profitability improvement.
Drive significant improvements in GVR's change management capabilities and processes to increase the effectiveness of changes to drive real transformation vs. incremental change.
II. Relationships
Reports directly to the President of Fueling Solutions and part of the Fueling Solutions Leadership group.
Direct reports will consist of current global continuous improvement and simplification-focused employees - this represents the formation of a new centralized organization through consolidation of existing regional and functional employees
Works closely with the Vice President of VBS at Vontier to drive continuous improvement across OpCo and support tool development.
Works closely with Product Management, Engineering, HR, Ops, Supply Chain, and Finance

I. Background and Skill
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 10 years' experience across continuous improvement, or product roles. Experience in advisory role or consulting a plus.
Demonstrated leadership in process improvement, driving significant business results,.
Experience building and developing a high performing team.
Experience in a role that included direct exposure to customers.
Experience in VBS toolsets
Experience working in an agile environment interfacing and working effectively across disparate teams.
Experience in working with external partners where required to accelerate progress.
Experience working with global teams.
Strong skills in communication with diverse audiences, training / coaching, consulting / influencing, teamwork across disciplines and cultures.
Being authorized to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment
The base compensation range for this position is $160,000 to $200,000 per year. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon a number of factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity.
