General Position Overview
This position is for an experienced support role, interacting with people of all levels. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, documenting, triaging and resolving support requests through effective decision making and problem-solving skills.
The successful job applicant will present themselves in an extremely professional, competent manner, be highly organized, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. The Help Desk Technician I is expected to provide these services with a high level of technical competency and independence, demonstrating experience and ability in multiple disciplines within IT.
Essential Job Functions

Efficiently Troubleshoot or escalate tickets to meet company SLAs.
Able to perform job consistently without absenteeism or tardiness.

Job Requirements
High school diploma and 2 years of IT related work experience required.
Willing to work towards a degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
Strong customer service skills.
Practical/hands-on experience desired.
Experience with Jira and Microsoft products (Office, M365, and Windows)
Maintain a professional level of knowledge of information technology issues in a dynamic environment.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to effectively communicate both written and verbal to interact with internal customers and coworkers at all levels along with excellent interpersonal skills.
Contribute & Participate for the overall improvement of the Department.
Ability and interest in learning new skills and to derive creative and efficient solutions in a timely manner.
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
Working Conditions:
Mostly office environment including:
- Light Manufacturing Environment
- Little to Medium noise level
- Moderate temperature ranges
