Position Summary:
Programmatic Evaluation and Assessment Analyst serves as a member of the Office of Assessment and Program Evaluation team and reports directly to the Director of Assessment and Program Evaluation. This position provides technology expertise and support in the development, management, and usage of exam/evaluation systems, databases, reports, and data used by CMED administration and faculty to directly support the assessment and evaluation functions across the MD program. Additionally, this position is responsible for ensuring the development and delivery of student assessments and the accurate and timely documentation of student outcomes. This position will work with senior leadership, managers, staff, faculty, and academic partners on matters in support of assessment and evaluation activities and to ensure that all student assessment and evaluation activities are in place to meet programmatic timelines. This position is also responsible for compiling data/information in support of course and curriculum evaluation. The analyst maintains complex databases and provides regular analysis and reports as part of the annual course/clerkship/curriculum review process.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
Two years of relevant experience, preferably in data management or software applications.
Demonstrated organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Ability to plan, establish priorities, and handle multiple tasks and projects.
Demonstrated positive interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintains Office of Medical Education course assessment software including grade books.
Works with faculty to review exam and question statistics to improve the quality of examinations.
Works closely with faculty to develop course/clerkship assessments, assessment timelines, administration of assessments, and reporting/analysis of student outcomes.
Serves as operational director for all on-line computerized testing for MD program across multiple campuses.
Coordinates and oversees exam reviews for Year 1-2
Serves as the NBME School Account Manager to the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME).
Serves as Chief Proctor for NBME examinations.
Ensures compliance with all NBME standards for administering board exams.
Provides oversight and training for all proctors for NBME administration
Maintains the accuracy and confidentiality of student assessment records across all four years to ensure that the educational requirements of the MD program are met by all students prior to graduation.
Ensures FERPA compliance of academic records, timely posting of grades and prepares annual reports of student performance on internal and external exams as required.
Trains faculty/staff on how to use the assessment portions of the curriculum management system.
Supports the extraction of historic course, segment, and curriculum as a whole outcome data (grades, evaluations, etc); curriculum committee in preparation of course review as part of CQI activities.
Documents and updates processes, guidelines, and CMED reference materials for training purposes and continuity of services.
