Ultium Cells Overview:
Ultium Cells is a joint venture lithium-Ion automotive battery cell manufacturing plant between LG Energy Solutions and General Motors. This new construction high-technology plant will have the latest battery cell manufacturing technology. The investment in this new business venture represents a commitment of more than $2.6 Billion. It will be among the largest battery cell manufacturing plants in the world. Ultium Cells will produce battery cells for General Motors North American electric vehicle applications.
The Ultium cell partners include LG Energy Solutions; the world’s largest manufacturer of automotive battery cells in the world and General Motors a global company committed to delivering safer, better and more sustainable ways for people to get around.
Salary Range: $68,000 and up based on experience

This is an exciting opportunity for you to work in a premiere battery facility, Ultium. As an Environmental Engineer, you will design and implement environmental programs that allow you to collaborate with a diverse group of professionals to manage environmental compliance and conformance. Skills:
- Proficient in Air Permitting, Storm Water Permitting, Wastewater Permitting and/or Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Requirements.
Experience:
- Experience in environmental engineering or related science, preferably at a manufacturing operation.
- Basic knowledge of a manufacturing processes is preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in engineering or related sciences with emphasis on environmental engineering required.
- Demonstration in continuous education preferred
