Some of the daily responsibilities our Estimator would be responsible for:
· Perform preliminary site survey / investigations
· Plan review and revisions
· Communicate and consult with project manager, clients, vendors, and team on costs, plans, and budget issues
· Obtain subcontractor and supplier pricing for assigned projects
· Assist the development of preliminary construction schedule
· Assist in the finalization of the complete estimate summary
· Assist in the sales estimating process
· Prepare pre-bid and contract scope descriptions for subcontractors and vendors
· Help management in bidding on or determining cost and price of projects
· Use and maintain systems and directories of suppliers and vendors to plan future project budgets
· Review material and labor costs to ensure accuracy and budget
Seeking candidates with the following:
· Home and Construction Knowledge – required
· 2 years of Construction Estimation Experience – preferred
· Customer Service Oriented Approach
