Title: Robot Programmer, Associate
Reports To: Robot Programming Lead
Summary: This position is responsible for programming, troubleshooting, debugging and preparation of robots to customer specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing robots to customer specifications
- Assist in cycle time and throughput improvements by adjusting robot path or functions
- Create and modify TCP and modify RTCP and User Frames with assistance
- Assist in the integration, start-up and debugging of plant floor equipment
- Provide support in the analysis and resolution of welding failures
- Assist in Installation and configuration of appropriate hardware and software options
- Assist in electrical diagnosis
- Provide on-going customer service
- Provide support to assembly operators and plant skill trades about robot functionality
- Properly document changes and updates
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures
- Travel will be required (Typically 2 weeks at a time with a weekend home for, may vary by distance or customer requirements. Install lengths range from 3 months to a year depending on the size of the job) to customer facilities to set up or modify automation processes impacted by robot issues and resolve such issues
- Perform all other duties, as assigned
