Truestream Technician
Great Lakes Energy is looking for a Truestream technician to install, integrate and troubleshoot fiber optic internet service and service drops for residential commercial dwellings and educate customers regarding the services we offer.

A Day in The Life of a Truestream Technician
No two installations are identical as a Truestream technician, so you will need to troubleshoot and problem solve as needed. You work closely with a rockstar team of technicians and Truestream solutions representatives, who schedule your appointments and route your day for you. Most people you encounter are so excited about the service you're about to install that you are greeted warmly. Occasionally there will be repeat service calls that require an extra thinking cap, so being able to de-escalate heightened emotions may work in your favor. Crawl spaces, nosy pets and extra dust or critters could creep into your day as well - extra patience is a virtue!
Who You Are
You're the kind of person who loves to meet new people on the daily. You are not intimidated by entering personal spaces, as most of our installations are in private homes. You like to use your brain and you might be a tad competitive when it comes to providing the best-looking finished product (wiring can be tricky!). You don't want your coworkers to have to pick up your slack or go back to fix your work, so you put your best foot forward on the first try. Some might call you a people pleaser, but we call your customer service top-notch. Hopefully you've got some field experience behind you (two years preferred), but we look closely at equivalencies to see if your experience could align with what we are looking for. We like to teach you our ways too, so hands-on training is available, young grasshopper.
