GENERAL PURPOSE
As Lead Software Engineer - Salesforce B2B, Technology, you'll play a vital role at MillerKnoll. We are looking for a proactive individual who can help us lead and implement Salesforce B2B in our organization. Our Salesforce user experience is of great importance to us, therefore, the Salesforce B2B lead should enjoy all aspects of B2B Commerce and designing solutions with user satisfaction as a priority.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Oversee the architecture, design, and implementation of Salesforce B2B platform.
Cultivate a culture of technical excellence through mentoring and participating in cross-team guilds focused on technology areas.
Works as part of a cross-functional, digital engineering team responsible for application development and integration within the Salesforce B2B and related platforms.
Collaborates on coding standards, leads code reviews, and enforces best practices such as source control, testing, release management, and associated processes.
Supervise a team and understand the functional capabilities of your team.
Identify and mentor individual team members' career development needs and the resources and activities needed to address them,
Actively participate in growth and development opportunities.
Build B2B Commerce solutions including Catalog, Pricing, Promotions, Cart, Search, Product Recommendations, Inventory management, Order management through configuration.
Setup, build, and maintain Salesforce Communities/Experience sites (Aura/LWR) with Standard/Custom Lightning Web Components.
Use Salesforce APIs/MuleSoft to integrate with other systems used in the organization.
Collaborating with Salesforce team to validate business requirements and any considerations (security, scalability, limits).
Adhere to Salesforce best practices and governor limits.
Applies problem solving skills and executes solutions to problems independently.
Assist Product Owners in defining new features and translating technical requirements.
Clearly communicate status and open issues to development team and leads.
Build and maintains good, positive relationships with both internal and external partners.
Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
8+ years of enterprise-level software development experience.
5+ years of Salesforce cloud experience.
Proficient with CMS, Order Management and the Salesforce development lifecycle.
Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with business stakeholders / other Salesforce team members.
Familiarity with Headless commerce, GA and MuleSoft Integration.
Desirable:
Salesforce B2B Developer, Salesforce Platform Developer, Salesforce Field Service Lightning Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant.
Skills and Abilities
Required:
Experience implementing and developing in Apex, LWC, and Visualforce.
General web development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Ability to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications.
Ability to gather requirements and present solutions to stakeholders.
Desirable:
Competency in other languages / development (JavaScript, SQL, REST/SOAP-based web services etc.).
Experience integrating with external/third parties such as CMS, POS, ERP, payment processors etc.
Demonstrates continued personal/professional development.
Active in the Salesforce community.

A starting compensation range for this role is $100,450.00 - $126,850.00. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors . You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
