The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $82,000- $166,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills
Tasks and Qualifications:
This is What You Will do in This Role:
To be successful in this demanding role, your proven track record will enable you to deliver against the following key performance areas:
Responsible for implementing part or all of the solution to the client, in accordance with an agreed Functional design
Work on roll-out and implementation of new business applications and functionality specifically within the SAP Logistics Execution, Transportation Management and Warehouse Management Areas
Responsible for successful implementation of SAP, including providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP products to clients
Knowledge and experience of intercompany processes in SAP
Design and implement core functionalities of SAP TM - OTR, DTR Processes, Selection Planning, Scheduling, Freight Execution, Carrier Selection, Tendering, etc.
Facilitates the gathering of requirements, designing, implementing, and supporting SAP Transportation Management to enhance the business functionality and performance
Configure the SAP system in the areas of TM /EWM to meet the requirements collected during blueprinting work sessions
Participates in meetings and build trust with internal business customers, understand business objectives, and seeks alignment
Engage with Key Users and Business partners to identify and validate requirements and translate to solution design.
Analyzes and develops functional specifications and communicates to technical developers in order to develop the required solutions in the most efficient way
Monitor and present periodic status to stakeholders.
Monitor Risks / Issues and prepare appropriate mitigation plans
Ensure best practices are followed and required processes and specifications are documented
What We are Looking For:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or a Master's degree is preferred.
8 years of Functional experience in SAP Transportation Management with min 2 end to end implementations on S/4 HANA
Strong functional knowledge in SAP TM Master Data including Business Partner, Dangerous Goods transportation network such as Locations, Routes, Zones and resources vehicles, Trailers, HU etc
Hands on experience in OTR (order based) & DTR (delivery based) processes, including Selection, Planning profiles, Condition's optimizer planning and scheduling, Freight Execution Carrier selection, Tendering and cost distribution.
Experience in SAP TM Charge Management includes Rate Tables, Scales, Calculation Sheets, Freight Agreements,
Experience integrating SAP TM with other areas such as SAP EWM, Freight Collaboration, SAP LBN, Project 44 and other third-party software such as PC Miler, SMC3 etc
Nice to have SAP LBN hands on experience especially Dock Appointment Scheduling
Understanding the integration with various SAP modules like EWM, MM
Should be able to write functional specs and work with technical team on enhancements, user exits.
Will be required to prepare instruction manuals and training material for end user training.
Should have experience and should be able to give solutions for business requirements and guide the team on data migration
Should have experience preparing data migration templates
Should have experience in data extracting, cleansing, and uploading the data.
Should have good experience in working with global teams.
Ability to conduct/lead oral status/technical interchange meetings with clients on small to medium sized engagements.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Strategic thinking and thought leadership capabilities; ability to institutionalize new tools, processes, and technologies
Knowledge of implementation project life cycles including blueprinting, configuration, testing, cut-over and go-live support
Proficient using Project Management tools (JIRA), preparing and presenting appropriate status reports
Qualification Requirements
SAP TM, EWM with S/4HANA Implementation Experience
Must be able to fluently communicate in English
Experience with global, large scale ERP implementations
Business and Process Knowledge
CrCross-functionalnowledge in business domains
Excellent time-management/schedule skills; ability to meet deadlines.
Results-oriented and demonstrated experience in leading work sessions with multiple stakeholders.
Willingness to travel up to 10% in US and EMEA
