Job Summary:
As a medical receptionist, you are the first point of contact for patients and visitors at our facility and you will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive quality care.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Providing exceptional customer service
Greeting and assisting patients
Answering and managing incoming calls
Scheduling and confirming patient appointments
Prepping charts and maintaining accurate records
Insurance verification and authorization
Check in and check out procedures
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in using computer software, Electronic Medical Records [EMR] and appointment scheduling systems preferred
Ability to multitask, stay organized and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and a commitment to patient privacy and confidentiality
