Summary:
As a Material Handler I, you will be responsible in supporting production and shipping processes with staging pallets and maintaining an organized warehouse all in a climate controlled environment.
Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
Support End of Line production by maintaining empty and full pallets, moving into warehouse
Coordinate/Inspect incoming and outgoing pallets to validate tray count and confirm proper tag usage
Supporting shipping process, side tasks, and inventory process
Perform daily checks of forklift to ensure it is safe to operate and escalate any issues
Verify correct alignment and flow of product during operation
Grade, classify, or sort products according to quality specifications
Monitor data from measuring devices
Monitor HVAC and room conditions for optimal production
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required
Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience
Experience:
1 to 3+ years of related manufacturing experience or equivalent, relevant experience
1+ years of forklift experience

Basic arithmetic ability
Reading and writing skills
Ability to work well with individuals and teams to ensure the team meets & exceeds expectations
Physical Requirements:
Ability to properly and regularly utilize PPE (for a period of up to 12 hours) including safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, nitrile gloves, ear protection
Ability to do the following repeatedly for a period of up to 12 hours up to 7 days a week; lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds, stoop, twist, bend, reach overhead, sit and/or stand
