This will involve consulting with business leaders from across the organization to align priorities, design and create learning materials and implement interactive and engaging strategies, causing actionable changes in the culture and the way we work.
The Senior Learning Design Professional partners with IT Leaders and Associates to support the strategic goals and objectives for our IT People Strategy. They analyze the skilling needs of the organization and use performance consulting strategies, adult learning theory, and instructional design best practices to design appropriate solutions to solve the knowledge or performance gap. The Senior Learning Design Professional develops learning content, evaluates solutions, leads design project teams, and partners with subject matter experts and business stakeholders to continuously improve results.
The Senior Learning Design Professional begins to influence departmental strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Responsibilities
The Senior Learning Design Professional uses consultative skills to conduct needs analysis, identify the gap, and determine whether learning solutions are necessary or relevant.
Designs and develops learning solutions, for technical topics supporting information technology associates, that solve for the learning gap, create clarity from ambiguity, are engaging, and align with adult learning best practices. Develops content by writing storyboards, scripts, instructor and participant guides, and eLearning. Writes effective measurable learning objectives, assessments, and measurement plans and evaluates the learning program effectiveness, and adjusts to improve learner experience and performance.
Creates strong partnerships with the business and collaborates with subject matter experts to gather and review information and content.
Provides instruction and guidance to Facilitators and may facilitate some learning programs. Knows how to use social media and collaborative tools to facilitate learning.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
5 or more years of experience working in a learning design role.
Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences.
Prior experience leading learning project teams, creating learning designs and developing interactive, engaging eLearning and virtual instructor-led content.
Quickly learns new technologies, comfortable working in a highly technical environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Learning, Education, or a related field.
Prior experience working in technology and or a digital field
Prior experience designing learning in the IT /Technology space
Prior experience facilitating learning programs
Work-At-Home Requirements
All Humana associates approved for the Home or Hybrid Home/Office work styles are required to self-provide wireless, wired cable or DSL access to the internet at the connectivity speeds required by the company to successfully perform their job with the exception of associates who live or work from home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates must meet the following criteria:
At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended to support Humana applications, per associate.
Wireless, Wired Cable or DSL connection is suggested.
Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if they provide an optimal connection for associates. The use of these methods must be approved by leadership.
Humana will not pay for or reimburse Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates for any portion of the cost of their self-provided internet service, with the exception of associates who live or work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota. Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.
Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$69,800 - $96,200 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
