The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $53,000-113,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Job Description
This opportunity is in the KION Mobile Automation R&D group. It involves collaboration with others to execute Verification and Validation test procedures related to Automated Guided Vehicles and their associated mechanics, controls, and software. Participation in group meetings, technical design reviews and the creation of technical feedback to the design teams will occur. It will involve working with cross-functional teams to execute the test plans and interpret the test results. This role will be involved in generating information for the project. As experience advances, this role will provide increasing Verification and Validation engineering technical involvement.
Core Responsibilities:
Perform Verification & Validation work that helps to demonstrate that a system is fit for its purpose and satisfies the stakeholders' requirements.
Document verification & validation results.
Provide information that helps create corrective actions and supports stakeholder acceptance of validation results.
Record defects and issues found during verification and validation testing activities.
Complete project tasks to completion, on schedule, while maintaining quality of work.
Collaborate closely, and stay aligned with, other members of the Validation team and associated groups.
Learn from experienced engineers to grow your knowledge and progress along a technical career path.
Participate in technical design reviews at various stages of the program lifecycle.
As part of the Validation team, help perform supporting activities in test setup and execution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or related fields.
2 to 4 years of on-the-job technical or engineering experience.
A genuine interest in multiple aspects (software, electrical, mechanical) of state-of-the art technology, demonstrated by either educational or work experience.
Competency with PC s, and miscellaneous PC software.
Hands-on design, testing, or use of electronic or electromechanical products, subsystems, or components.
Limited knowledge, or experience, with system verification and validation.
