For this position, you wil be responsible for Model e vehicle distribution center operations across multiple locations in the US and Canada. Day to day Operational role focused on RRC Ops and Final Mile transportation. Support development of Model e network optimization plan for current and future vehicle lines.
What you'll do:
Responsible for day to day RRC network inventory including managing inbound to outbound shipments
Develop process to track Ford's actual RRC network spend to Controller's budgeted cost and identify where and why gaps are occurring
Work closely with 3PLs within RRC network
Identify and investigate operational issues impacting the handling of vehicles in the RRC network to drive process improvements
Develop and implement improved processes to track RRC and final mile KPIs through dashboard creation and logic
Responsible for ETA reconciliation process for vehicles off plan to ERP systems
Resposinble for RRC network to reduce premium spend (Overtime/Freight)
Audit various invoices including storage, other premium charges
Help identify, drive, and implement opportunities to optimize Ford's existing outbound vehicle network through collobration with NAVL that assist in achieving year-over-year task objectives
Prepare report outs for leadership on KPIs
Interact with Sales and Marketing Model e teams as needed to resolve escalation issues
You'll have:
Bachelor's in supply chain, logistics, and operations management
At least 2 years of experience in data analytics or supply chain management
Effective problem-solving skills
Experience working with and managing 3rd party providers
Adaptability
Ability to work in a Hybrid work environment
Prior experience utilizing skillsets in roles such as a supply chain analyst, logistics analyst, network operations
Experience with working on supply chains to resolve day to day problems
Strong interpersonal skills
Deliver Model e vision as it continues to evolve
Possess analytical skills to build compelling and persuasive business case
Proficient in Excel, Power Point and Word
