Aerotek is hiring a qualified Press Brake Operator for a full-service provider, supporting clients with prototype and low volume production. They are a prototype and engineering company created to provide superior engineering consulting, value engineering, prototype, fabrication, and assembly services to automakers. They serve not only the automotive industry but a wide base of customers including but not limited to technology and defense.
Location: Clinton Township, MI
Pay: $20-$28/HR
Shift: 1st Shift
1st Shift: 6am - 2:30pm (8-10 hour days)
Monday - Friday, some Saturday's
48 - 58 hours a week

Job Description:
Responsibilities
Set up and operator a press brake for established work.
Select correct tooling for the job task with set up documents or supervisor/lead assistance.
Load, install and correctly set up the tools required.
Ability to prepare and run complex bend set ups and forming operations. Complex programming using all features of the press brake.
Must have a full understanding of print reading and geometric tolerances and how they relate to the finished part.
Thorough understanding of flat pattern lay out.
Ability to work well with others in a leadership environment.
Ability to train less experienced operators.
Work in an efficient and timely manner.
Keep work area, including machine surface clean at all times.
Work with Material Handler to make sure material for each job is on schedule and in the proper location
Other duties as requested.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must have:
3-5 years Set up & run Press Brake
Die Selection knowledge
Set up Tools
Mics, Calipers & Gages
Calibrating machine
Cross training in other Fabrication operations: running a press
Medium to large scale size parts
Crane Operations as needed
Materials: steel & aluminum
