About the Job:
You are a passionate Software Architecture professional, who is enthusiastic about automotive electronics and wants to define the future E/E Systems and in-cabin user experience.
As Principal E/E Software Architect, you are an expert in the full vehicle E/E Software system, and you have a good high-level understanding of all domains. In our E/E Architecture Lab, you will drive the analysis of E/E Software architecture trends and technologies across global markets, key customers, and suppliers. With your peer software architects, you willdesign future vehicle E/E Software architecture and product concepts. For our SW architectures, you will also cover the in-cabin experience domain in collaboration with our product lines and system integration teams on combining our automotive product portfolio into a seamless user experience deployed in the HARMAN AutoOne product engineering car fleet.
Full vehicle E/E Software architecture SME analyzing future Software architecture trends and developing technology roadmaps and product concepts
Software architect for in-cabin experience domain
Collaborate with product line SMEs, customers, and suppliers and analyze, identify, and establish industry benchmark E/E Software architecture design principles and best practices
Develop innovative E/E - and in-cabin experience domain software architecture for the HARMAN Auto One reference car in close collaboration with the product line architects and the E/E Architecture Lab domain architects
Support technology partner and M&A analysis
Master's degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable experience
Strong background (8 years) in automotive software architecture and in In Cabin experience
Core expertise in all E/E Software architecture domains and their cross interactions including vehicle-level system partitioning, vehicle function allocations, and system integration
Technical leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire people
Good understanding of standards - ISO26262, ISO21434
Experience in UML and respective tooling
Experience in operating systems like Android, Linux, QNX, AUTOSAR, etc.
Understanding of Automotive service-oriented architectures (SoA) like SOME/IP, DDS, etc.
Excellent understanding of various cockpit system domains like connectivity, navigation, entertainment, projection, audio, etc.
Excellent understanding of system and software partitions on new-generation cockpit systems
Experience in executing projects, product innovation, and a good understanding of product management
Automotive production software development experience and strong programming skills in C/C++
Experience in Hands-on in vehicle-level System Integration
