Job Summary
The Supply Chain Analyst is an integral member of the Supply Chain Analytics Team, with a focus on sourcing, procurement, and analytics expertise. This role requires a candidate with a background in sourcing, procurement, or analytics to effectively understand and meet the demands of the position. The Supply Chain Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting Value Analysis, Sourcing, and Procurement activities, providing meticulous analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, item usage insights, EPIC data analysis, product conversion recommendations, and analytical support for various Supply Chain projects. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to handle large datasets are essential skills for this role.
Essential Functions
Detailed Data Analysis: Perform in-depth data analysis using Intermediate Excel skills to uncover insights and opportunities within the supply chain.
Value Analysis Support: Collaborate with Value Analysis teams to identify cost-saving initiatives and provide data-driven recommendations.
Sourcing and Procurement Assistance: Assist in sourcing and procurement activities by providing comprehensive analytics, supplier evaluations, and data-driven decision support.
Item Usage Analysis: Analyze item usage trends to optimize inventory management and cost-effectiveness. EPIC Data Analysis: Leverage EPIC data to drive informed supply chain decisions and enhance operational efficiency.
Product Conversion Recommendations: Identify opportunities for product conversion, optimizing supply chain processes and reducing costs.
Supply Chain Project Analytics: Provide analytical support for Supply Chain projects, ensuring data accuracy and insights to guide decision-making.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field (Sourcing, Procurement, Analytics, etc.).
Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or analytics is essential.
Highly proficient in Excel with the ability to manage and analyze large datasets.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in day-to-day tasks.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to translate data into actionable insights.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced supply chain environment.
