About this Role:We're looking for a highly skilled Database Analyst with 4-5 years of experience to join our I.T. team. The primary focus of this position involves analyzing and documenting business functions and technology requests of our internal teams and ensuring our databases are secure, efficient and effective. This is a great position if you enjoy collaborating with internal end users and using technology to improve and enhance the effectiveness of teams and the business.
What you'll do:
- Analyze and maintain company databases
- Resolves database performance and capacity issues
- Performs Database recovery and backup
- Plans, designs, develops, and manages AgroLiquid databases to ensure efficient data storage, access, and security.?Collaborates with users to design, code, test, debug, and deploy databases that meet requirements and needs.
- Plans, organizes and conducts business process reengineering/improvement projects.
- Responsible for software upgrade paths delivering elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverables.
- Consults with functional teams to identify, define and document business problems and needs.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Database Administrator SQL Experience Required
- Proficient in Project Planning
- Previous experience with ERP systems (specifically SageX3) or similar class of ERP System
- ERP Modules in use: Advanced Pricing, Financials (GL, AR, AP), Inventory Management, Manufacturing Management, Sales Order Management, System Foundation, Transportation Management.
- Strong organizational and prioritizing skills
- Excellent communication and people skills, Positive attitude and work ethic
- Valid drivers’ license and good driving record
- Proficient in the use of SQL, Project Management Systems, Microsoft Office Products
