B&M Ashman of Atlanta is looking to hire a fleet and equipment mechanic. It is a full-time position, hours from 7 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. with some overtime when needed. Pay will be based on experience $20-$30/hour After 90-days of employment the position includes health and dental insurance and a 401. Vacation time will be granted after one year.
The fleet and equipment mechanic will perform preventative maintenance and repairs for both heavy equipment and fleet vehicles (gas and diesel) including hydraulics, troubleshooting and diagnosing issues to determine proper repairs. Strong communication skills is a must. Responsibilities also include monitoring inventory (filters, bulbs, etc) for commonly used parts.
CDL is a plus. Must have basic computer knowledge.
