Stiles Machinery Inc. is seeking a Software Integration Specialist for its Grand Rapids, MI location who is responsible for developing and maintaining expert status of HOMAG's custom software including Wood Cad/cam, and Cut Rite required for proper machine integration with HOMAG's sophisticated and specialized computer-controlled manufacturing equipment.

Develop and maintain expert status of HOMAG's custom software including Wood Cad/cam, and Cut Rite required for proper machine integration with HOMAG's sophisticated and specialized computer-controlled manufacturing equipment;

Develop integration standards and processes;

Create, execute and maintain seamless integration between software and computer hardware and machinery controllers;

Utilize knowledge and experience with HOMAG's software and machinery to provide software support to on-site integrators as well as customers, bringing problems and questions to fast and efficient resolution;

Perform onsite software integrations and installations of HOMAG software;

Train, mentor and advise new and existing employees on software integration products, services, and practices;

Work with the development teams to resolve current issues and plan for future software development;

Assist with product training, machinery demonstrations, and development of Help Files and Software Documentation (creation and maintenance); and

Act as direct liaison to software suppliers to resolve technical issues and address development concerns.

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field and 2 years of related experience.  Required experience must include 2 years in the following areas:

Troubleshooting and tuning large MS SQL databases;

Utilizing .Net services and SSIS packages;

Employing SDLC and Waterfall and Agile methodologies as required; and

Database performance tuning. 

Up to 50%, local and International travel required.
