Research Assistant - Biological Sciences
Wayne State University is searching for an experiencedResearch Assistant - Biological Sciencesat its Detroit campus location.

Essential functions (job duties):
- Take a leadership role in the implementation of program components including seminars
and colloquiums, development of a certificate program, community service projects and
internships.
Supervise a project assistant.
Participate as an active team member in the development, refinement and maintenance of
program processes and organizational structures, including all group team-building
activities.
- Track project performance, including data collection and analysis of the successful
completion of short- and long-term goals.
- Assist with project reports to be shared with faculty, advisory board, students as well as
other project collaborators.
Qualifications:
Possess a BS or BA with relevance to a STEM discipline.
The candidate should have:
Project management experience.
Combination of academic and professional experiences covering physical and social sciences.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred qualifications:
