Responsible for designing, developing, installing, and maintaining equipment that is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery, and processes; actively research latest automation developments as part of company’s continuous improvement; liaise with customer to identify and implement control system improvements; program and troubleshoot PLCs, variable speed drives, and instrumentation; utilize Allen Bradley, Siemens, HMI and PLC programming, VFDs, Servos, DeviceNet, ControlNet, Profibus, Profinet, electrical drawing design, electrical panel assembly, and Banner programming security devices to perform duties; and collaborate with engineers and venders on new equipment construction and installation.
Location: Roseville, MI and multiple undetermined worksites throughout the US;
Salary: $69,514 per year
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
Training: None;
Experience: Six (6) months in the position above, as an Electrical Maintenance & Instrumentation Engineer, as a Mechatronics Engineer, or in a related occupation;
