Talent Development Instructional Designer This position supports the activities of Talent Development at Comerica. This colleague analyzes, creates, researches, sources, invents, partners, and communicates instructional design plans. Deliverables include design documents, storyboards, and terminal objectives. Success in this position is evidenced with volume production, quality of product, and effectiveness of learning. Position Responsibilities: Design of Talent Development Programs * Adheres and contributes to the design standards. * Adheres to the curriculum strategy. * Collaborates with subject experts to design frames and storyboards. * Collects materials from sources or researches and finds sources. * Confirms measurements to use. * Confirms scope; meets with SMEs and stakeholders to understand what the course will look and feel like, and which features to include. * Designs activities, assignments, and assessments. * Designs the broad outlines of courses and performance solutions. * Determines modalities to use. * Determines/confirms the terminal objectives. * Divide lessons and topics, encapsulate into a storyboard and send for approval. * Explains to instructional developer the design and hand-off complete design. * Leverage existing content and curriculum. * Researches learning and performance approaches to determine what types of skills or knowledge the leaner needs to know. * Tweaks the design as needed working with the instructional developer. * Creates learning objectives. * Chooses the right methodology. * Writes quiz questions. Consults and Partners concerning TD Programs * Collaborates with TD Managers and Curriculum Manager to fulfill requests. * Collaborates with Instructional Development team to ensure plans are built accurately and with high quality . * Partners with SMES to design content.
