JOB SUMMARY
The Cash Application Supervisor is responsible to research and resolve all unapplied cash, recoupments, refunds, audits and denials within department guidelines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises the team to ensure task completion and coordinates work activities with other supervisors as needed.
Generates and analyzes reports to identify problems and trends in revenue management and staff productivity. Develops necessary corrective action to resolve deficiencies.
Acts as a resource to subordinate staff to resolve cash, refund/recoupment and audit activities.
Organizes and structures work assignments of cash research personnel to ensure all department best practices are met.
Ensure that Training and Development Documentation and Standard Operating Procedures are updated as needed.
Ensures compliance to company policies and procedures as well as with federal, state, local and Joint Commission regulations.
Responds to internal/external inquiries within 2 business days
Performs other duties as required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises all subordinate employees of the department
Responsible for the performance management, hiring and discipline of subordinate employees within the department
Typically supervises 20 primarily nonexempt employees.
Support, coach, and build Cash Applications Lead for Success through mentoring
Minimum Required Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations

Computer Skills
Intermediate skills of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Word and Visio
Intermediate data entry and calculator skills
Language Skills
- English (reading, writing, and verbal).
Mathematical Skills
- Advanced math skills required with a strong ability to understand, interpret and develop spreadsheet data.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is a stationary position that requires frequent sitting or standing, repetitive wrist motions, grasping, speaking, listening, close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
